We are showcasing the members of the Lansingburgh High School Class of 2025 with Senior Spotlights. We will update this page with Senior Spotlight submissions for the remainder of the school year. Spotlights will be posted in the order they are submitted.
How to Submit a Senior Spotlight
Seniors and their families were emailed the Senior Spotlight Submission Google Form in late April. Submissions are now closed for the year as of Friday, June 13.

I've honestly had many teachers who made a lasting impact on my four years at LHS. Going way back to 9th grade, I certainly remember Mrs. Biddle always making sure I was paying attention! It's these moments that will be missed and always remembered.
Plans for Next Year
I am planning on attending the University of Albany and pursuing a major in Forensics. This has long been an interest of mine, and I am looking forward to seeing where it will take me.

Mrs. Retell, Mrs. Murray and Mrs. Burkhart, thank you for your guidance and support throughout my educational journey. I am so grateful for everything you taught me. To Mr. Hughes, thank you for all your support and for making me laugh and cheering me up when I was feeling down and to Ms. Mary, my PT therapist, a special thank you for pushing me to strengthen my body to hopefully help me walk again someday.
Plans for Next Year
Taking a course at Hudson Valley to experience college. If things go well, maybe I'll take additional courses. Also attending the Rec program at The Arc of Rensselaer County and training to get a job.

Thank you to Mr. Shuttleworth for believing in me and pushing me to be the absolute best of myself over the 2 years I had you. Mr. Wilson was a huge help junior year, not only was he there to help with assignments, but he always noticed when something was off with me. All the staff I interacted with helped a bunch, but I wouldn’t be where I am now without Mr. Wilson & Mr. Shuttleworth.

I will be attending SUNY Delhi, majoring in Biology and I will hopefully work my way into the Veterinary Science Program.

My sophomore year when I was pulled up to varsity football and making the Super Bowl! Or the first game of my senior year against Watervliet where I rushed for over 150 yards for the first time.

Coach Pravel, he's always respectful to everyone. He's also the RB and LB coach for the football team and I spend all my practice time and game days with him! He has become a huge mentor to me.

My fondest memory from high school has to be 10th grade Homecoming. I had the time of my life with my friends that entire night!

I want to shout out Mrs. Reinert and Coach Casale because I trust them and I can really count on them to be there for me when something is bothering me and I need advice.
I also want to shout out Mr. Huba because he really believed in me from the beginning, even when I wasn't doing my best. He's always encouraged me and made sure I knew he was proud of me for putting the work and effort into being where I am now!
I also want to shout out my Best Friend, Madi. Even though she's only been here for a short period of time, she gets me through my day every day at school. We grow closer every day and now we're inseparable. I couldn't be more grateful to have Madi as my best friend!!

I will be going to the Capital District Educational Opportunity Center trade school in the spring for Cosmetology.

My fondest time in high school was homecoming spirit week, dressing up as different things, and laughing with my friends. Some of my favorite teachers are Ms. Baldassari, Ms. Fazziola and Mr. Peltier.

I would like to shout-out Mrs. Bragg for always being there for me when I needed her most. She is the best guidance counselor I could ever imagine. She pushes you to your absolute fullest potential and will guide you the best she can while also leaving room for independence. I love her.

I am planning to attend SUNY Oneonta in the fall majoring in Mathematics or Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Math!

Mr. Rowlands, for helping me keep using my love of drums and putting together the Modern Band that I love playing in, as well as allowing me to work the audio for high school productions.
Ms. Behrens, for pushing me to challenge myself to do better, rather than coasting through the school year.
Mr. Shuttleworth, for teaching me ways to organize the writing I'm going to be doing a lot of in college, as well as helping me to write the paper that got me into my school of choice.
Dr. Eldred, for helping me understand one of the hardest classes I've ever taken, yet also the most fun to learn about: Physics.
Mr. South, for helping me to hone my skills in making things, and allowing me to use the 3D printers and workshop whenever I needed to for a project.

Attending the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and majoring in Computer Engineering Technology.
