Class of 2021 Senior Spotlights
We are showcasing the members of the Lansingburgh High School Class of 2021 with Lansingburgh Senior Spotlights. We will update this page through the remainder of the school year.
Abigail Rose Bailey
During high school, Abigail has been active in the Lansingburgh Drama Club Program and Soundwaves. Abigail has also completed Questar III's Certified Nursing Assistant program and is now a Certified Nursing Assistant as well as CPR Certified.

Post-Graduation Plans
Abigail will start a job at Van Rensselaer Manor right after Graduation and will begin studying Medical Assisting at Bryant and Stratton College in the fall.
Abigail Cowieson
Abigail has played on the Knights Varsity Softball Team and is a High Honor Roll student.

After graduation, Abigail will attend Hudson Valley Community College and then the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg for their Marine Biology program.
Mikayla Cummins
Mikayla is a member of the National Honor Society, is one of the Top 10 Academic Students of the Class of 2021 and has been active in Student Government.
She is a member of the Lansingburgh Drama Club and is playing a leading role in this year's production of In the Heights. She has also participated in other Lansingburgh performing arts programs including Soundwaves and Choir,

Mikayla will be attending Suny Delhi for Veterinary Sciences.
Tyler Doyle
Tyler has played baseball every year from 7th grade through senior year and also sang in the choir. Tyler has taken his academics very seriously throughout his time in school. He has received numerous academic awards and maintained an honor roll or high honor roll average every year from sixth grade on.

Tyler plans to attend college with a focus on Business Management/Communications and to continue playing baseball.
Madison Gamache
Madison is a High Honor Roll student-athlete who has played on Lansingburgh's Volleyball Team (where she was also a captain) and Softball Team.

Madison will be attending Siena College to major in Professional Accounting.
Ava J Ganc
Ava has been active in multiple clubs while at Lansingburgh including the LGTBQ Club, Art Club and Writing Club. Knights Athletics Program participation has included Cross Country (also acting as Manager) and Track & Field.
A member of the National Honor Society, Ava is one of the Top 10 Academic Students of the Class of 2021, has been named a Student of the Quarter and received the L Award.

Ava plans to attend the University of Maine to study Marine Biology.
Katie Jerominek
Katie is a NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete who has been on Lansingburgh's Varsity Volleyball Team (Captain), JV Volleyball Team (Captain) and JV Softball Team (Right Field). She is a Colonial Council Volleyball All-Star and was named Student-Athlete of the Week twice for her work on the volleyball court.
She is a member of the National Technical Honor Society and recently received her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credentials through BOCES. She has also received the RPES Scholarship and an L Award from the district.

Katie plans on attending Hudson Valley Community College for their Radiologic Technology program with future plans of being an ultrasound technician.
Sarah Miller
Sarah was involved in the school government, National Honor Society and played Knights Soccer and Softball. She was a captain for JV and Varsity Soccer, receiving one of the district's L Awards for her athletic achievements.
Sarah has been on the High Honor Roll for every marking period throughout her time at Lansingburgh High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, is one of the Top 10 Academic Students of the Class of 2021 and recently received the Physical Education Leadership Award.

Sarah has connected well with all of her instructors and the Lansingburgh administrators, but Mr. Guyer has been a significant role model in her life. She credits him with his unique ability to connect with students. He has left a lasting impression on her that she will carry for the rest of her life.
She also would like to shout out to Ms. McDonald who she cherishes as a special influence on her life.

D'Vante Murray
During his years in Lansingburgh High School, D'Vante has played in the Knights Baseball Program and volunteered in the Lansingburgh community to help feed the less fortunate and homeless.

Paul Neddo
Paul was Team Manager for the Knights Varsity Football team for 3 years and also received his Varsity letter for football. Paul has also been awarded Honors and High Honors for his grades.

Eva Pickert
Eva is a member of the National Honor Society and has maintained High Honor Roll status & received the L Award for the past four years of high school. She has been a student-athlete on Lansingburgh's JV and Varsity (Captain) Soccer Teams. Additionally, she was selected for the Colonial Council All-Star Second Team for the past two years.

Eva has been accepted to Oneonta State where she plans to study Exercise Science and play on their Soccer team (she recently signed her letter of intent for this).
Tatiana Randall
Tatiana is a High Honor Roll student, a member of the National Honor Society, is one of the Top 10 Academic Students of the Class of 2021 and has received an L Award for academic achievement. Tatiana has also received the Society of Women Engineers Award and a Computing Medal Award.
During high school, Tatiana has been active in the LHS Knightly News, as well as volunteering to be a field resetter for the Robotics Center and at the Puerto Rican Hispanic Youth Literature Institute of Albany.

Jada Rondon
Jada is an Honor Roll/High Honor Roll student who participated in Lansingburgh's performing arts programs including the Drama Club (for 9 years), Choir and Soundwaves. Jada has also been active in both Student Council & Government.

Jada will attend Notre Dame College to major in Nursing and minor in Musical Theater.
Giavanna Santa Lucia
Giavanna participated in an academically demanding CTE Criminal Justice program for 2 years of her high school career through Questar III. Through this program, she received many awards and certifications that will carry on into her future Criminal Justice career. She is a member of the National Technical Honors Society and has made the High Honor Roll for every marking period.
Giavanna has received an L award for her academic achievements and the Denny & Kathy Haughney Scholarship. She has also been given the honor of receiving The Tyler Jarosz Award. Throughout her high school career, she has become a Certified Mandated Reporter, a Certified Security Guard and a Certified 911 Dispatcher.

Giavanna would like to thank Mr. Peltier for always bringing a party to the classroom and making every lesson fun even if it wasn’t supposed to be. She would also like to thank Mrs. McDonald for always being an amazing teacher, friend and influence.
Post-Graduation Plans
Giavanna has decided to attend HVCC for her first 2 years of study, then transfer to a 4-year school for her Criminal Justice degree. She plans to work extremely hard in order to achieve her goal to become a Criminal Profiler in the FBI. There are a few other options in the Criminal Justice field she loves as well, but we will see where this amazing journey takes her.
Jeremy Sheftel
Playing Knights Soccer for all 4 years of high school and Lacrosse for the last 2 years has given Jeremy many great memories and was a big highlight of his time at LHS.

Jeremy gives a big shout-out to Mr. Shuttleworth for being a super cool guy. He made 9th grade English one of the most fun classes in all 4 years of high school.
Grace Marie Shover
Grace is a High Honor Roll student, a member of the National Honor Society and was the Vice President of the National Junior Honor Society.
She has participated in Master Minds, school dances, basketball games and the painting of the Senior Class Mural in Lansingburgh High School. In the community, she has volunteered at the Regional Food Bank and been an altar server in her family's parish.
Grace has also received the district's “L” Award, was accepted into the New Visions program through UAlbany's “Pathways in Education” and is graduating with Honors in the Top 20 Students of the Class of 2021.

Grace thanks Mr. Ravalli for inspiring her to go into teaching and giving her the opportunity to shadow him. He is the reason why she eventually wants to be a high school AP World History Teacher.

Grace plans to attend UAlbany to major in History with a minor in Education.
Paulina Sirtori, Class of 2021 Valedictorian
Paulina is the Valedictorian for the Senior Class of 2021 and a member of the National Honor Society. She has been a student-athlete on the district's Girls Varsity Basketball Team and a performer with the Lansingburgh Drama Club, as well as with Soundwaves.
Paulina was named a "Vent Fitness High School Athlete of the Week" on WNYT and was the winner of the RPI Medal for math & science.
